How to setup SSH tunnel IP whitelisting for Metabase Cloud
Setup SSH Tunnel IP Whitelisting Identify the IP addresses that need to be whitelisted for your Metabase Cloud instance. For Metabase Cloud, the typical IPs that require whitelisting are: - 18.207.81.126 - 3.211.20.157 - 50.17.234.169 Contact your vendor support team and provide the list of IP addresses that need to be whitelisted for SSH tunnel access Specify that you are using Metabase Cloud and no longer require any previous IP addresses to be whitelisted Wait for confirmation from the support team that the IP addresses have been successfully whitelisted Test the connection to verify that the SSH tunnel is working properly If you experience timeout issues after whitelisting, ensure that your connection is configured to use the SSH bastion host to connect to the RDS instance Usage Once the IP whitelisting is complete, your Metabase Cloud instance will be able to establish secure SSH tunnel connections to your database through the whitelisted IP addresses. The connection should route through the SSH bastion host to access your RDS instance securely. If you continue to experience connectivity issues after the IPs are whitelisted, verify that your connection configuration is properly set to use the SSH bastion host method.
